Aims for 2008

3. Go to Font at least a couple of times
4. Climb some sunny sport routes in the autumn
5. Ride impulsively-bought freeride bike some more
6. Go swimming in impulsively-bought triathlon wetsuit some more
7. Buy house
8. Build training facility (subject to 7)
9. Buy boat (subject to 7)

3. Earn the title 'King of the Slab' at at least one UK wall
4. Go to Font

I'll give you a quid in coppers if you become the 'King of the Slab' at Congleton Wall.

1. Scrape Johnny Brown's shins.
2. Pummel Somebody's Fool's kidneys like pistons.
3. Climb a problem that couldn't be argued to be '7b'
4. Finish off the patio.
5. Get some climbing in, walk the dogs, get some brighter boots.
 
1. not get hospitalised ALL year, made it in 07, first time in 4 years!!!
2. get fit enough to enjoy the roadbike more
3. not get injured, lose a bit of weight (see above) and get some more longterm projects done.
4. ride snowdon, should of done it last year really
5. try to get to the alps / spain for lift DH bike holiday
6. redpoint,..... something
7. hope to fuck I enjoy my climbing as much as I am at the moment for ever
 
1 Not get injured
2 Make better use of flexitime to surf and use wall at lunchtime
3 Following good use of surfing flexitime, improve enough to do Scottish NW Coast and Hebrides justice
4 Following that, get some good surfing done in Oz in Autumn
5 Get some winter routes and ski touring done
6 Make an effort to get down to gritstone more often
7 get to Font
8 Have a good snowboarding trip to somewhere with decent powder
9 Have a considerably more productive year for trad and boudlering in Scotland
10 Get more mountain biking done at 7 Stanes etc (might even upgrade bike)
 
1 - Not get permanently exhausted through working too hard.
2 - Be fit and strong enough to really make the most of the Banyaks boat trip in May.
3 - Finally climb a Font 7b problem (I've made it to 7a+ each year).
4 - Do lots of routes in the Summer - particularly away from the Peak
5 - Drink less and eat healthier
6 - Get lots of sleep.
7 - Acquire less stuff.
 
1) Eat more healthy.
2) Buy another house.
3) Get a job again in the summer after 2 years off.
4) Move from PC to Mac (Maybe)
5) Get a better DSLR and get a bit better with my photography.
6) Learn Spanish

my list will probably be the most boring. anyway...

2 manage to spend more time each visit to foreign destinations ----->

7 cross step with real style on my longboard
8 don't work
9 go to hueco and rip it
10 (not in importance) get back to the peak, spend alot of time there and try the lime

Amen to the first part, as for the second, honestly, don't bother, its stuff only locals could love, and even then only a minority do.
