Part of the problem with this is the people that bother to comment are the disgruntled ones.  That often skews feedback.

Get it up and running; I'm sure it won't cost more than a few million a year and it'll make fuck all difference anyway.

:agree: Hmm, not the best idea in my opinion.  Its not like the majority of the population are educated enough in the area of medicine to be able to make an informed opinion on the performance of their GP, and how do you get opinions from those who've had the worst experience i.e. they died!!

BTW this is a good candidate for Da News thread ;)

What utter rubbish another waste of tax-payers money. So the GP who dole out anti-biotics willy nilly gets a good rating by patients and those who prescribe sensibly get a poor one - how bloody stupid.

There's a patient at my practice who writes in after every attendance - she's complained about every GP and all the other staff, even ones who have no patient contact. The GP at my place who gets the most complaints is probably the best doctor in the practice - he's just abit short with the odd patient who comes with trivial things.

As pointed out above most of the general public have no idea whether their GP is doing a good job.

It's sad when reality imitates art http://www.rateyourdoc.org/ (this is from the TV series Scrubs in case anyone thinks it's real).

:agree:

not because *dr knows best* but because dr has trained for in excess of 7 years just to get a junior post, is driven enough to accept huge uni debt, the farce of HMG pissing around with our training and get up to work in the morning with the general population being spoon fed shite by twats like this in the media

happy fuckin christmas
