Everyone should read this fine memorial by Jim Perrin and remember Peter Harding for giving us some unforgettable days out...
I too cut my teeth from Derby at 'the black rocks' and dreamt for many years of climbing Demon Rib before finally having the balls to try it.
The spirit of Harding lives on in Suicide Wall, Kaisergebirge Wall and Demon Rib.
If you can't feel this spirit then leave your pad and cams at home and go try one of his 'E severes' - You won't forget it.
