Hard XS
December 04, 2007, 04:17:30 pm
Not sure if you’re aware but Slackjaw’s latest (Hard XS) is at the printers and is available to buy now. It’s got a bit of everything and I’ve been treated to bits and bats over the past year or so and can confirm the quality. And if you don’t believe me then this is what the great man himself has to say

“if you are a climber you absolutely have to see this... amazing... sets a new standard in climbing films”
Jerry Moffatt

There’s even a teaser of Ru on Seraphim (afraid it didn’t make the final cut) so get your goggles round this

Pity that video clip is so small, it looks like good footage. Total crimp deadpointing!

I saw the Breakaway footage ages ago, it was classic. The second man's expressions were priceless!

HARDXS is finally properly absolutely done. It left our gaff a couple of days ago and is at the dupers. We’re promised stock by 14th December.

Come on Foley, its not your eyes you broke. Try Pritch, he might burn you one special like.

That short of Ru is great, if it didn't make the final cut the rest must be brilliant.

I just hope shipments to the US arrive before next summer...

I was going to be in it at one point. But they said that having someone both good looking and talented in the same film would just discourage all the punters, so I got cut. Perhaps they will make a full feature film just about me?

I am having a special tor sensor fitted to mine. I just get in and turn the car on and it tells me whether or not its worth driving all that way. Thing is, I think its broken - all it says at the moment is 'dont bother'

I chucked my sensor away and just had a sticker saying 'don't bother' put over the display. I don't even need to look at the sticker any more.

Not available to buy yet but CragX is taking pre-orders on tinterweb and will have it in shop asap. I think Rich said to expect it on the 14th Dec.

I've always loved the slack jaw website, but I can't find the old school interviews with the stars of hard grit, and the somerfield malt loaf price watch (I know it never changed, but if anything that made it better!).

Pity that video clip is so small,

It's 1:1 scale. Ru, and Ravens Tor, really are both that small ;-).  Excellent stuff.
