Looks like some amazing stuff in a place called "Pariso Escondido" went on a goose chase looking for "A Wave", got taken to this place, and found a collection of House size boulders, need a bolt gun, going again soon,,, hard Sandstony stuff, possibly welded tuft:

Useless Pat, Mexican bouldering, I salute you.

Merry Christmas mate.

Oh and if you happen to head to the complete other side of the country (unlikely I know!) there are some nice little limestoney type crags on the beach at Tulum on the Yucutan Peninsular that are boulderable. Went there touristing a couple of years ago and couldn't resist pulling on and doing a few moves. Really rough painful pockets but then I wasn't climbing at the time so my skin was girl soft.  :-[

There is almost no bouldering on the west coast, found a highball V5 in Puerto Escondido, Heuvos.
Puerto Vellarta has some Granite, Going to scout Troncones Limestone today, then a sizable swell comes through for four days...

I don't know about bouldering, but I was there for six months last year and I met some folks who climbed clip-ups pretty regularly. If you're ever near Guadalajara I hear there's loads, and I know for a fact about one crag in a small town called Guzmán. If you get to Guzmán, head to the nature park (it's pretty easy to find) and ask someone to point you towards 'Los Compadres' - Two really cool looking pillars of rock next to each other. These two have some bolted routes on them, but from what I remember it's pretty easy. Just watch out for bees' nests in the hand holds!

Wicked! Unfortunately I can't put you in touch with any climbers – it's been too long! But, head to Guzmán, and either: Go to a bar called 446 - there's a couple of folks who work behind the bar who climb. Or better, in the University there, there's a climbing wall. These don't really exist much in Mexico, so you're guaranteed to bump into some good lads. Brush up on your spanish!
