did it once for the first time in endcliffe park a few weeks ago, by the end of the session i could just about get stood on (and jumping on with a run-up) adn take a few steps before falling off.

It is a good laugh, but to be honest i'd rather be climbing.

Never tried it - if I had time to spare and had two massive trees in the garden then I'd like to have a go but don't seem to have time for another pastime to add to my life.

I'm going to start Thai Boxing when I get back from France so that'll be another evening a week swallowed up.

That video link that somebody posted on CT a few weeks back was way impressive though.

That's the one - wish I could do that but haven't got 3 years to spare getting there!

I'd love to scuba dive and windsurf too but there's not enough time  :(

Do you find it helps your climbing?

Think general concensus is it dies jack for your climbing, unless you specialise in climbing 1-inch wide swaying bits of rock.

You'd think it might help with general balance/body awareness and things like flagging, etc.

I bought a slackline kit and found that it really helped my climbing. Much more than door frame pullups or eating chicken.

changing direction on the line has obvious uses, but general balance and all that hippy crap paid of before the injuries set in.

definitely recommend one. solo sessions at sundown are a favourite in the park for the California vibe.
