Kaluza Klein II
October 30, 2007, 01:00:59 pm
Just to follow up from the thread a couple of weeks back.

I actually went to Robin Hood's Stride and had a look at it.

It looks CRAP  :o (well maybe it looks okayish but when there's some real lines out there at E7 the only reason for doing this as a first E7 one must be that its E6)

So im not going to point it.

That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it.

Yeah. And, by the by, its actually very good, lovely moves, lovely rock. In fact aesthetic looking as well - I can't imagine in what sense it looked 'CRAP'?

I concur, although can't comment on the moves as I am saving myself for the flash

Aye, must be first time someone has boasted about not wanting to do a route on here.

Now you mention it I have had a long look at Equilibrium and decided I am not going to climb it. It's because I'm crap and you can't convince me otherwise.

I think you're wrong Chris.  Go on, have a go at it it's your kind of E10, well reachy and a bit of a soft touch (or at least it looks like it on the video).  If you have a go I'll film it for youtube.

I didn't think it looked shit, just small (even for grit). You're never gonna get people agreeing about it looking lame because it's small when you're on a bouldering forum...

 :wank:  thread.

(But for me, as a route , KK is disappointing to behold.  It'd be a great boulder prob if landing was flatter.)

But don't go thinking that just because I replied without calling you a f/wit that this isn't a wank thread.

This thread needs more tits.

I just thought it would look a bit like one of the countless other amazing aretes on grit

Just thought, given its reputation, that it looked a bit, um  :-\ underwhelming. That's all.

Which may very well be the case.

But it's not newsworthy.  And no-one cares.

True it doesn't have the wow of Master's Edge, Edge Lane, Equilibrium etc etc.
But be aware: you've essentially started a thread saying "Kaluza Klein is shit" having never climbed it.  Plus, you aren't going to climb it 'cos it's too shit for you.  I think you may have foreseen some backlash, non?   :-\

It looks like a classic grit arete, you just have to be standing in the right place

The above has nothing to do with what has previously been posted. It's more a pictographic representation of my average day.
