 I think UNESCO sites are a great idea, but this is worrying. Similar entry fee as the taj mahal!! (entry into the taj mahal is about R750 / £9.50).

I think UNESCO sites are a great idea, as long as any detremental effects of them affect other people and not me

I'd pay £7.50 to moove around in a vehicule, sounds ace.

On a serious note though, I don't think it sounds like the end, and hopefully the changes wil help to preserve the area more than end it...
