Congratulations Granticus

and Welcome to the world Jonas Edwards (I promise not to refer to him as Jedwards... again).

We're in the process of developing the Mk III Lagers Jr, due to be released in May 2011, so hope to be posting here again next year. As Dolly has pointed out, this means that my wife and I will be outnumbered by the kids, but she says she is already outnumbered by kids due to my childlike behaviour.

Cheers folks!  2 weeks old tomorrow, all is going good..  Climbing and surfing are taking a sideline at the mo' but have managed to get out briefly a couple of times.  Back to work Monday which kinda sucks as I have enjoyed hanging at home with the babbit and mum.

Good luck with this, can't imagine being outnumbered by sprogs right now.  The good news for me is the gender balance is tipping in favour of males in our household, I am training Jonas to recognise the remote control, comandeer it and replace reality TV with climbing/ surfing DVDs and to protest strongly about being in retail environments. ;)

Whatever you do don't let him get his hands on the remote control. Ours never leaves it alone, once rendomly managed to record 6 hours of E4 on the digibox.  He has also disabled my mobile phone I let him play with by dribbling into it.

Two weeks goes by so quickly. Lagers, looks like you will miss the changes to paternity leave by a month!

http://www.mybusiness.co.uk/YR4yc2Joc2BfBw.html can she hold it in until April the 3rd?

I don't know what your calenders are like up there Chris, but down here May comes after April   ;)

Unbelievably, Mrs Starfish earns even less than I do, so she'll be taking the full parental leave.

Sleep? What's that about then?

Percy refused to post on here, but then put it all over facebook, so here goes! Edward George was born last Wed, 6lb 14oz (I don't grow big babies). Glad to get out of hospital after 2 days this time, rather than the 10 I ended up in for last time.

No 1 child is being great so far - will this last or is it some sort of honeymoon period?

Congratulations.

No1 was great for us too - slept well and had a lovely temperament and we were wondering what the fuss was all about. However, No.2 was a little shit bit more challenging.

Congratulations Lucy, another great name!

How old is your number one?  There seems to be an ideal age to have a second where the first one really enjoys it and wants to help and look after the new baby, maybe you've just timed it perfectly?  ;D

Our No1 could only be faulted for wanting to cuddle her little brother even when he was asleep. On the whole, she was (and is) absolutely lovely towards him. Ours are 21 months apart.

Yeah, lots of cuddling baby brother going on. I rarely get kisses or cuddles now  :(

There's 28 months between them, probably just got into the happy to have a sibling age; I think if they're younger than 3 the memory of ever being the only one fades really quickly!
