Nik and I had a look at this yesterday.  Start RH on low pebble, LH painful crystally thing at bottom of runnel.  Good smear at bottom.  Then what?  Do you stick a toe in the chip from here or is there a secret to gaining height?
I had a go at putting LF out on the FOB starting hand hold then slapping up the Runnel with LH, but then this is a lanky (duff) method.

Who's actually done it?  And what did you do?

Has it ever been done without the chip - always felt like it should be. I've done it but can't remember anything about it (again).

Did you do it before or after the decent pebble at the start came off?

God knows, but before probably (didn't know one had).

I remember trying it about 6 or 7 years ago and the start was OK- there was a good pebble low in the groove.  Yesterday this wasn't there and a dimple had replaced it.  I may be wrong though, but it was a lot harder than I remember.  Maybe I've just got crapper

It can be done - but you will need a cold day. Get your foot in the chipped hold and rock away. It is a helluva lot harder since the demise of that pebble.

I can't get my foot in the chip from the low smear so I assume I need to get my feet higher on the crap smears first.  Very painful on the tips, and not that enjoyable
