Chapel Head Scar Conditions
July 13, 2007, 12:46:12 pm
Anyone know what the current/likely for the weekend condtions are for CHS? Is there much seepage on the Phantom Zone buttress or the area around Prime Evil/Super Duper Dupont?

Thanks in advance.

I thought you were injured Andy?

As for CHS, I'd guess that thanks to today's monsoon it may be a little damp and seepy up there.  Can't remember exactly how much seepage that part gets as I haven't been up there for a few years, but I can't recall that it stays that immune to abysmal weather like we've been getting.

The weather up this way has been crap.  I doubt very much if it would be worth your petrol money, unless it's scorchio the next day or two.

Anybody able to give access details at the minute? I.e. regarding nesting bird restrictions etc, and how much fo the crag is open if any?

According to the BMC website the ban is in place, unless the birds fail to nest.
