So it looks like I'm going to get an opportunity to spend some time at a lab in Cambridge. So my question is this: is there any good bouldering or climbing nearby? 2 hours each way would be entirely acceptable for a day trip, but I'd probably be without a car (and pad).
With any luck I'll be able to swing a conference in Manchester in March as well - Manchester is near the Peak District yes? Is the peak too hot in March?
