i dare to say that skin is good for climbing when it's elastic also.
with hard, dry skin you risk that one single move on a sharp hold rips and entire pad.

Yeah I'm keen to avoid tips that resemble tracing paper, that's why I'm being (over?)cautious with it.

Doesn't have to be a ridiculously thin coating. Just make sure you use a moisturiser of some sort (I use Dream Cream) too and you should avoid the tips getting glassy. And stick to the instructions, only twice a week will do.

Disclaimer: This works for me but may not be ideal for anyone else.

My boyfried also uses it, it's a scent we can both enjoy together.

Hmmm, feedback on the site ain't that great. Can it really top Eliz Arden? Worth a go I suppose. So are there actual Lush shops on 'the high street' then? I don't go into town you see, no use for it.

I turned up at the board one night and found two of Sheffields strongest comparing notes on hair conditioners! I kid you not.

On Jasper's rec I mail ordered some of that Dream Cream. (the nearest Lush shop to me is in Chester - about an hour's drive) I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, but since using it my skin has come really good, smooth and uniform 'n' all that. I have started a more regular climbing pattern after a bit of a break in August/sept, so maybe this would have happened anyway? I've also bought some of fatdoc's antihydral, but I don't reckon I'll touch that until I get to Font.

out of interest how long does a pot of dream cream last because at 8.75 a pot it seemed a little pricey.

I'm sure if you have a nice word with fatdoc he can sort you out with a tube for £25.

 ;)

If you can't take a bit of feedback on your pricing stucture then don't set yourself up as a retailer and advertise your stuff for free on a public forum. when i slag off the prices of fiveten shoes in outside, or planetfear's prana yoga mats they manage not to take it personally.

So it's your fault planetfear went bust.

A pot of dream cream lasts fucking ages.

Dense you're truly insane  :)

Dave, calm down... you make a comment i take personally, I give you -ve karma. If everyone agreed with everything then no forum would exist. No big deal. You got +ve karma from me only last week, again no big deal.

As regards the pubilc forum based sale of antihydral: it's a niche product that I assist in the sales of for use by uk boulderers. If it's availability wasnt made evident on here then where on the web would it be seen to those potential users on the product in the UK?

As jasper says one tube lasts some years, for the cost you get a lot of skin, yet I'm not a commerical outlet and have to cover the costs of the web shop hosting. I've made enough profit for a takeaway pizza and a few beers... that's it. If you drag through this entire thread it seems self evident to me that although profit has been made by me the *fatdoc empire* has always been a rather tongue in cheeck affair with the sole intention of allowing non German speakers the chance to get Antihydral rapidly from us here in the UK.

Unlike climbing retailers I'm not looking to generate an income stream from this.

So yes, I take it personally.

er...

er...

er...

if you're driving down past sheff i could leave some in my porch...be a 40 min detour off J33 to get to mine and then back onto the M1 at J29...

got any mates going with you from south yorks??

i reckon the post is now shagged for weeks, with backlogs etc.. i usually post normal 1st class. a courier would be a bit damn expensive IMO

BTW, they sell it in the climbingworks, could you break the journey stop in there and pick some up??

just a few ideas, let me know if you have any others that you want to persue...

For an english speaking website, You can get it from the States too (better exchange rate for me.)

http://foosdirect-store.stores.yahoo.net/antihydral.html

Their user directions are a bit iffy tho.

fatdoc.i've just read that one of the t.mobile cycling team has got busted for using sibutramine an appetite suppressant.i reckon you'd be better off flogging that on here rather than stump cream.
