Heading to S. France around Vallons/Chateauvert and wondered if it was worth checking out the crags at Quinson and Cimai?
I only came up with these latter names by going to Cosiroc.
Check out the link "You are British, a pure British minded climber"...
Back on the case - of course I go to "You are a top level climber" to find the best crags and see the list includes Cimai and Quinson-Aspre.
Anyone been? Any good?
No guide mentioned for Cimai, and a "cheap and poor" topo for Quinson. Mmmmm...

Cimai is a special spot. Lots of history, and very 80's. Evil crimps, sharp, chipped. But it is pure class if you appreciate that it is Cimai. Lots of vertical, or slightly overhanging. Very cool to look at, it is an impressive crag. I would say go there, but you have to be interested in that sort of stuff. Orange Mechanique looks awesome. Toulon is close by, but is a bag of pants, don't bother.
I would check out the Calanques, there is a big fat guide now (dunno how new it is) and there are some sectors which look amazing.
Dunno about Quinson.

Looks like I might have to resort to UKC for info on Quinson...
