Weather forecast looks bright and very sunny for the weekend. Shady mountain venues will be best me thinks (e.g. Wavelength). Bring your sun tan cream and your shades.

I spoke to Ted the landlord of the Fricsan the other day and he said that the bouldering meet will coincide with the official opening weekend under the new management. He said there would be bands playing all day and night, and that we should expect a festival atmosphere!

CJD has been working on his welcome speech too - there won't be a dry eye in the house by the time he's finished (tears of laughter my friends, tears of laughter). He's also promised to perform a new song on the main stage.

It's gonna be great!

Is it a silly question if I ask if there will be space in the bunkhouse this time of year? I think there's going to be a notable absence of Merseysiders by the sound of things

Not sure what the bunkhouse scenario is; might be busy because of the festival thang. Give them a call.

Who is coming over for the meet? - I need to know the numbers so that I can get the champagne and cigars order right.

Just so every on is clear and all that, meself, Nodder and James will be in the pub at 18.30, and maybe then head up to the Cromlech boulders for a bit.  The choice is your - beer or bouldering, then all hook up later at the fricsan I guess. Dead Easy.
