Green Man

At the risk of sounding beardy, did anyone go to last year's Green Man festival/thinking of going this year? Any good? Child friendly presumably?

Somewhere near Brecon. Apparently not to the other questions.

Got confused with the big green in the cheddar, which is child friendly...

OK, went to this in the end and had a great time. The few acts announced so far for this year (Aug 15-17) include Richard Thompson, Supper Furries, The National, Beruit, Black Mountain, Nina Nastasia and others.

I would thoroughly reccomend The National, saw them at the leadmill few months ago and they were very good.

Very much. I had my two (then 9 and 13) with me by myself and it was very easy; they had a ball (albeit a v. muddy one). Last year there were three stages, a dj tent and a whole children's area in a walled garden. Attendance was about 10K I think. One of the camping fields is specifically for families. Loads of children of all ages. I'm sure we'll be there again.

Next weekend now (.http://www.thegreenmanfestival.co.uk/home) Did any other UKB'ers decide to go in the end? I'll be there by myself + the children again and some adult compay would be good!
