Super Submarine

Stubbs mentioned it elsewhere, but surely worth its own thread -

Quote from: Gaz Parry
Super Submarine V12

Yesterday i spent the morning chilling and drinking coffee down at BUK. I was waiting till Longridge came into the shade. About 4pm i headed over with the chaps and after a quick warm up had a great first go falling on the big move in the pic below.

The left hand is utter rubbish and continued to feel crap for the next 30 minutes or so. Then came better conditions, no movement on the hold and Longridges hardest up problem was i the bag. Next to try here will be linking this into Renal Failure a stern 7b+/c eeeeek!!!

what does the original 'submarine' problem get, and where does it start; is it an eliminate?

It's a good effort by Jee because he's fat and weak, and the only way he gets up anything is by relying on his reach.  ;)

Popped in to Longridge yesterday to have a look - it was a bit of shock to say the least. The place is a mess compared to what it used to be like. Still, the climbing is still as it was, apart from the ground being a little lower in places.

I can't see what the problem is with climbing because the whole site is almost literally a tip - we won't exactly be making a mess.

I assume you weren't challenge at all?  They never used to be around on Sundays anyway.
Hmmm, may have to look myself.

Were you trying Lifeline Sitter by the way?  There was chalk on that, Dezertion Eliminate and Groundhog SDS.  There may be a few people there this evening, 5/6ish onwards I think.

There was nobody around at Longridge but I literally just popped in to have a look as it was on the way home and didn't climb.

Did manage to climb @ the stones on Saturday but I was shit and went home depressed - it was too hot!
