London to Peak
March 25, 2007, 11:43:48 am
What's the quickest Peak bouldering to get to from London by car? I live just to the north, near the M1, and I want to try to get a couple of hours on the boulders and get back at a reasonable time. Preferably grit, and low to mid grades.

Thanks!

Cratcliffe and Robin Hood's Stride have some nice low grade bouldering. Do you have a guide book?

Thanks for the quick reply.

No, don't have a guide book yet. Which one should I get?

The Glossy Peak guide:

All the harder stuff plus good quality problems in the lower grades.

Or (if you can still find it?)

The In Depth but Strangely Graded (Old) Peak guide.
