Hi GCW and thanks :-)

It's going to be interesting to see how big this list gets!  I've managed to get some 80 problems and with the ones from North Wales that takes me comfortably past 80 :-)

Got a good un from RockClimbing.com where I have started a similar thread.....Belly Flop, V13....from the Soul Cal vid.  It's an unusual dyno that's for sure!

Cheers
Luc

Thanks Scouse D.  These will make a nice addition to my list.  I was wondering about North Wales stuff and then it materialized.

Cheers

I'm no great dyno fan these days, but my favourite one in the peak is probably one on Smoke Ont Watter wall at Curbar, just right of SOW, layaway to ledge. I always mention it in dyno threads cos it's great, another good stop on the Curbar edge circuit, 7a (no handholds other than layaway and ledeg at this grade)

Orgasme Cosmique, 7b at la Mare a Piat in Font (come on Scouse!)

There are loads of Dynos at Castle Hill, listed on tota.co.nz (see the bachelor of castle hill section).

Thanks to everyone since my last posting.  I've managed to get past the 100 mark!  I'm off to check out the NZ link to see what I can find on there.

Keep em coming!

Fair enough i'm crap at dynos, but I wont go lower than 6c. Mr Average (for whom we grade) is only 5ft8in and has fair to middling springyness of leg.

average uk height is 5'9 isn't it? that might make the problem 6c--, or 6b+++.

Is Double Clutch on your list yet? It's a 5-6 feet long move, on Flagstaff Mtn, Boulder Colorado, US. I think it checks in around V7-8. Regarded as a classic problem over here.

Hey Blunk

No it wasn't but it will be in a moment.  Thanks for this one.  There must be loads in the US.

Have you got anymore that you can think of?

Here's my USA list so far:

Sharma Dyno
Iron Fly
Pocket Rocket
Saturday Night Live
Belly Flop
Double Clutch

Not many, eh?

Cheers

isn't there a "Super Dyno" in Yosemite (Camp 4 area?) - recall seeing a photo of it in that Huber book - Yosemite: A Century of Dynamic Rock Climbing.

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who's contributed to my list of dynos so far.  I've managed to amass 130 dynos from 12 different countries.  I'm still fishing around for dynos from the USA...surely there must be more than just 8!  I reckon there must be some good ones in Japan, too.....anyone know anything about bouldering in Japan?  I've even had contact from a climbing in Iran who has promised to see what he can unearth for me....hopefully I'll get something from him next week.....here's a link to a photo of some boulders in Iran on his profile http://www.rockclimbing.com/photos/Artistic/Mahd-e_Boulder_86408.html .

If you want you can add Robin Cooked (V3) from Glen Clova, Scotland. Did it again last Friday, forgot how good it is.

Must be tons in the US, try their websites / forums?
