fans of wimberry

not wanting to blow my own trumpet, but jims in t'egypt, did local hero sit start this morning 7c+. start right hand on obvious chip, left a few inches away, left to obvious chip, now there's a theme, right into start hold of local hero and upwards to glory.
also did a normal stand start to slap happy, ie not hyper extended, so all you shorties can join in. left hand on strange pinchy hold, right on strange pebbly hold, left hand to start hold of slap happy etc. brilliant move, at least 7b. i still kind of talled it tho

Effort Dense. New name for Local Hero sitter, or is it just local hero sitter?

They'll be in the guide ASAP...

no, i know what dank cracks them fingers have been in.
just local hero sitter.
ru neglected to put my name next to the pinch sitter on slap happy for some reason, prob being a little busy and all that, can you rectify that for me? this does not mean that we are going to be swapping spit in the shower.

the first boulder you come to jon. on the riverside. 2 dirty moves on crimps, into original. good moves but not to most peoples taste ;D

This quote could apply to The Fin at Gib Torr, or indeed the Limpet at Angel Bay. Not to mention everything on the Bruno Block.  Are we to deduce from this that your new addition is also 'wank'.

Cofe hit the nail on the head.  I wish I'd driven to Wimberry this morning to witness this.

Is this a new sit start to the 6b wall climb? or is it the Sam Whittiker line up the arete? Nice one either way.

Any Chew Valley news is good news.

Nice, did you seal the chips after chipping them, or will this get a bit easier if I wait for them to erode a bit more?

It can't be that good... for a start it's at an established and quality venue.  :P

Hey Dense I was out running up the Duddon valley on Saturday and I found some pretty sweet boulders way up on the high fells miles from the road, PM me for more details  ;)
