New Welford Route at Burbage
February 06, 2007, 05:36:29 pm
Was talking to John Welford today who was doing pics on his new route to the left of Notorious BLG at Burbage South. Takes the rib direct I think. Apparently E7 7a, safe but falls a bit cheeky

Awesome fucking Welles!  Saw chalk on this a while back.  It looks tres bon.

Yet another gorgeous day.  As a wise man once told me whilst poring over his moon charts and singularities: "It's all about February."

Nice one!

Tried working this a few years back (was too hard for me) and had some really great moves, albeit hard ones. As for cheeky fall - too right - that block is uncomfortably close. Respect.

I might have one.  I've got a weeks trial at at national news agency starting Wednesday.  If I prove I'm not a complete 'tard then I get the job.  A big if.

The downside to this is obviously the inevitable demise of my (considerable) gritstone prowess.  The upside is I'll be getting stories into national papers and magazines like Chat and Take a Break (a long held ambition).

Are you writing the monthly "I was raped by my chiropodist" cover story in Cosmo?
