I`m on my way down the m6 this weekend from Edinburgh and was wondering what good bouldering venues there are on the way down, around the lakes and north area?

Any help or web links appreciated

Thirlstane and Clifton are in Dumfires and Galloway, not sure how har you want to detour from motorway though. Otherwise, ahve a look at the great map on Lakesbloc.com

does the m6 not go down the north west (i live in preston and it is 2 mins drive away)??
if you are coming down the m6 check lakes bloc yeah, and the bridestones are not a massive detour (junction9 on m65).
