I've got a chance to go to Chamonix and I've searched and found some sites near Chamonix..medonnet, but can anyone tell me how long by car to get to Cresciano, Magic wood and Chironico and of course if there is anywhere good nearer to chamonix? any help appreciated.

Chironico is 137 miles and will take about 3.25 hours. cresiano is 206 miles and will take about 3.5 hours. magic wood is 248 miles and will take about 4.5 hours

Did this in the summer, went from Meddonet to Magic Woods and it was about 4-5 hours if I remember correctly
