Aberdeen wasn't bad yesterday; clear blue skies 1-2ft and light offshore. Tried out new board, and got on with it OK, but not instant love (not that I was expecting it to be). Tempted to break out old board again, but persevered.

20ft-15 secs is the swell rating,cornwall was 25ft 15 secs, this saw Fistral hittig a solid 10-12ft, and no one out...
Towan hit 5ft and still looked like half moon bay...

Sunday North Wales - 20ft @ 14 Seconds - Strong SW'erlies

I have a long weekend in Abersoch...

Ho ho ho!

As usual it didn't turn out like that - the big long period swell arrived Monday lunchtime as I was driving home.  The North Coast of the Lleyn was starting to look impressive with seldom surfed spots showing lots of activity whilst I gazed out of the window of the motor.  I'd managed a Sunday pm session in the corner of the Mouth, choppy and lumpy but still good with some power.  Disappointed to be back at work today....

Hit the gay bay...
However, anyone heard of "Zorbs", this is possibly the greatest break in britain. this went off on Monday, and the reading from the big wavers was "60-80ft faces, 100ft with spray, but like, too windy". I think he he might of ment "To fucking savage". this is a rare showing, the location is 2-3 miles off shore (Crantock), I swear this was the most beautifull, powerfull, gracefull, fearfull, full on venue i have ever seen.

I've heard conflicting reports on the surf at Rhosneigr. Does it actually come into condition often (as the Rhosneigr site says) or does it not. Some people on the BBC surf pages were saying a while back that its naff while others were keen to sell it? Any vibes?

Aye, looks OK for tomorrow, provided wind stays low. Might be an off chance for early sunday too, but looks like wind will be howling again by midmorning and will be an onshore mess like last Sunday;

Was good for flying kite, but little else.
