Only in our minds.  Grades are always an interpretation by humans and therefore inaccurate.
Which is why this is all so inflammatory/pointless/boring depending how you look at it.
If no-one cares about grades why do people get so annoyed when Si O'Connor does V15 regularly?  If he was doing V8 regularly would anyone bat an eyelid?
I just find it amusing that 7a is such a big issue, but in this poll:
9 of 19 who believe in 7a think WSS qualifies (47.3%)
3 don't believe in 7a (13.6%)
13 of 19 believe Superman and CT are 7a (68.4%)
9 out of 10 badgers like Si O'Connor's photos
