After recent discussions amongst a few of the local climbers about new beta we've decided that 8a+ was just a little bit steep. It's settled at a more realistic grade of 8a now. Still one of the best problems in the Uk....

Some problems on the Calcutta buttress on a surprisingly nice Saturday afternoon

A little thing we did on Tinos just to give a flavour. The vid shows  second (easier) half of a new problem. We reckoned 6c+ with the sit start which is sadly missing from the vid.

It's a 6c+ and I lost count of how many times I swung off that move   Couldn't do it Nik's techy way.

I think it's something to do with the scaling down / shrinking process. I've noticed it before on other vids.

Steve, is there anything else on those Ingleby boulders worth going to have a look at? I saw them from the railway line when on a bike ride and have been meaning to investigate ever since. Ta.
