This is like asking if someone doing Hubble is going to top out up Body Machine.

No, that's really a weak comparison dave. Back around. :)

A better one would be "like asking if someone on West Side Story has to top out" :p

Anyway, I'm always happy to jump off a problem sparing some horrific shitty top out experience so don't mind me. Was just wondering what was above it - as going straight up after would seem like a nice thing to do... Its been a while since I scrittled about at that bit of the Cliff, so was having problems visualising above it.

No it isn't. Body Machine is neither trivial nor does it go to the top.

Pretty sure every previous vid I've seen has shown a top out. Not suggesting it doesn't count but it wouldn't be my choice.

Piggotts Stride finishes at the ledge, you can choose whatever finish you want from there.

I haven't been on that ledge for a few years so I may be wrong, but I don't recall there being a walk off. So you'd have to solo up to the top of low man (or perhaps worse downclimb square chimney :'( )?

If this is the case I'd much rather traverse off than get stuck on a ledge. It's reasonably high up

Although it would be rather amusing to watch someone climb an 8A and then get rescued off a HS (Whisky Crack).

You could traverse off left finishing Low Man traverse (s) which is really just pleasant walking.

Not sure how many pads you need but I think it looks worse than it actually is. Has anyone ever hit the slab falling off?

If you have ever done the minor classic Depth Charge it is very likely you still experience night terrors from the joy of finishing up Piggotts Stride.

Tim Palmer on Chiasmata at Almcliffe.

Might inspire people to try this mega line, arguably the best climbing at the cliff.

I'm inspired. How many pads do you need - looks like he has a bunch. Def looks like Pigott's Stride direct start, the crux of which is probably the stride so you would be looking at a Severe top out...

"...arguably the best bouldering at the cliff."

Tim was being... Tim.

I had four pads which was fine, a pad on the slab behind is worth doing just in case a dry fire.

Ben, I would have a good flash go. A gentle stroll compared to something like Lanny.

For the plastic pullers.
Legends looks ace.
Even Jerry gets a cameo part.

I'm uncomfortable with the "Legends Only" label being attached to a few people who are currently bouldering quite well in competitions. Except Jerry of course.

Was the farmer in at the farm? Did he seem OK to let you climb?

Regards access there's a bit more to it than that but not what I want to post publicly. Nothing major, but maybe a consideration before teams of people start trooping down to the farm.

The Legends Only video was truly amazing.
The part when they were fondling the BM holds left me in a state of pure excitation and anticipation, hoping that it would all boil down to a manly showdown on the BM.
Then came the climbing.
Meh.

Impressive that, cos with 25kg added that pretty much takes him up to my bodyweight.

So you're as strong as Megos, but taller. I think you're underachieving.

In terms of bodyweight percentage that's quite awesome.
I think he weights 57/58 kg, adding 25 is almost 50%...
It's even more impressive if you think about the total on two arms...

How tall is he? If he's not a tiddler then that is crazily skinny.
