So, if there's any mentally ill boulderers in South Lancashire at present, half these problems await a repeat.....

When you say half the problems are awaiting a repeat do you mean that someone else has actually done the others or just that you've done them more than once?

R-man (who else?) bigged up the place a few years ago, so I went and did most of the stuff, plus added the slap and the traverse.  As far as I know, nobody has been there since, until I went the other day.
My two amazing additions have been done a couple of times by me, but noone else- which I don't consider being "repeated".

It's 5 minutes from home, which is why I went.  It's a nice place with a few good problems (a few= less than 6), now becoming ruined by kids smashing bottles, adding graffiti, making fires under problems etc.

Bit like Woodwell was, until it became popular


EDIT:  To clarify, R-Man and pals discovered the place.  R-Man and Andi_e (plus others) did most of the stuff there originally, so blame them

The Healey Nab video reminds me of the early days of my lancs explorations. Battles with dodgy elbows and dodgy venues. Ah, halcyon times...

Finally had long enough to watch the Albarracin vid.  Good stuff.  It's always important to break things up with footage of a bigot, it makes the film more whole

The point was more that you put some fun in.  A video of just bouldering can get a bit dull, you need Nik at work ramming donuts in his mush, or something similar, to brighten it up

this is probably the worst quality video ever on here, but the problem i put up was nice and i crushed, that day.
it's filmed with my small camera, with the "post nuclear blast sky" effect on. you can also hear grunts of wild animals searching for carcasses in the fallen buildings.

while killing time on my pc, i found some old footage of the day i sent the roof project. it's intereasting i think, perhaps even more than the actual send, so i just stuck the bit together and here it is: what lies behind the curtain of a lonesome send. beware: nothing really happens, it's just feelings.

yes, but now it's a bit old and all the foam moved lower so when i put it on it's more like a "belly top"...

pro tip: clean the footholds BEFORE you try the problem. if you don't do it, and you fall off, it will be absolutely useless, later, to menace the greasy foothold with your fist.
