Blimey, so just thought Id get a few words in myself now. So as it stands atm, the bmc advice for the area is.

Maintain a quiet and low-key presence whilst visiting. Don’t disturb the fishermen and always remain polite when interacting with other people in the dale.

Although listening back  on the video I must admit the music sounds loud but you will have to take my word on this that it is barley audible over talking. Its playing out of the tiny speakers on a phone and if I tried to play it loud it would just make a horrible noise. If anyone was to turn up at the crag be it walkers climbers or fishermen, then out of common decency I would turn the music off as I know that it can be annoying to others.

As for socks Willackers! You know not of what you are missing!

Anyway, hope you were able to enjoy the rest of the crag music free video.

Didn't hear that, I've resorted to watching most vids with the sound off. People that do play music at the crag should be shot

 :agree:

If I hear even so much as hum at the crag from you ya getting kneecapped

I'm as quiet as a mouse when I'm at the crag.

Some great problems from a stint of dry weather in Magic Wood.

I quite like the magic vids Elliot and I don't know whether the angles are bad but that ascent of muttertag looks a bit dodgy  :jab:

Finally back doing some proper bouldering in training for when the weather is stable enough for the grit:

Thanks to Stevie for filming.
Quite pleased with this as it's the hardest problem I've done for about 18 months and I'd had 2 session on it previously.
Also quite pleased with the overall video - dedicated to Jasper etc etc  :-* :-* :-*

Nice going fiend. I predict it would have been a lot easier without the biggest gillet, hate that word, I've ever seen.
The song, I say song, also gives good advice.

That video is both a visual and auditory assault.

Nice work though Fiend, made it look easy (I'm assuming it's not).

I apologise for the trousers, and only the trousers. The gillet is really thin and light-weight.

Cheque - cheers. It's deceptively simple, just a ladder of slimpers. Took me a few hours though - conditions were ridiculously good this last time.

Me and the other half sending a few easier problems in California, mostly Tuolumne Meadows up at 8600 feet in Yosemite national park. We headed up there after being eaten to death by mosquitos and greasing off every problem we tried in Yosemite valley. Really amazing climbing, beautiful area, we highly recommend it! One bonus Bishop area highball too.
