Excellent synchronised dyno work. Soundtrack was even better than my 'Nose' effort.

Nice to see someone that still ties their chalk bag round their waist at the wall.
Cool looking venue too.

As an aside, I'm told that Ed's dyno is a bit further left than in my vid.  Sorry for any offence caused.

Cool. Nice effect. Just my opinion, but I'd have preferred it if when the camera angle changes (how did you do that by the way? Was it a wider angle shot that was cropped, or did you have a camera person?) the scenery didn't have that shadow effect, only the person. Just my thoughts. Quite enjoyed it still.

It was filmed in  w i d e s c r e e n  and then cropped. If I had kept it all static when I applied the ghosting layer then only the moving figure would have been affected - like it is for the first couple of problems....you are right, it does look better.

Vegas 7, just coz that what I could get my hands on rather than as a result of research. Quite like it. What have you been using DrT? GCW?

cyberlink power director express because it was free  ;D
sticking with it for the moment cause I'm comfortable with how it works even if it doesn't always do everything I want....

There isn't really a category for this, but it has something to do with rock, and something to do with non-quality genius

What on earth is going on?

DLR is into his aid climbing. Apparantly he used to spend a fair bit of time in Yosemite. I think he even had an album cover of him doing some aid route (Skyscraper?). Think he might have had a shot at Everest?
Anyone here climbed with him?

JUMP!  Jump?  Not really the spirit of AID!

But I'm a massive fan of bastard-hard aid and if DLR digs it then I dig him too.  Just cut shave that poodle Motherfucker.

Actually, I like the panning shot, but I was wondering about the ghosting layer being applied only to the person, and the scenery being solid/static whilst panning, if that makes any sense?

Aha, I get it now. Apply the ghosting to the whole widescreen clip before any panning/cropping/moving (maybe render at that point), then do the pan/crop.  Yep, that'd work perfect - the rock and scenery would be solid/static and the moving bald guy would be ghosted when wanted. Thanks for the inspiration
