Hey Stu, you're a damn handsome fella, now you come to mention it.  I bet those hong kong chicks love you long time. Lucky for us the receding hairline is the next big thing. Mark my words, everyone will have one, beckham, jordan, david sneddon, ja rule etc etc.

Yo paul you're on the money its the fish arete. The groove left of that is also superb. Bo.

That arete is one of my favourite bits of Grit climbing ever - how hard would you say it is?

I first discovered it with Stu Watson, he thought it was 8a! I said 7b+?

Are you on about the standing or sitter. I only did it from standing, flashed, thought about 7a max (probably less, like 6c?), but had been told 7a+. Easier if you're tall.

Only had 1 go at the sitter (was very warm) so coulnd't comment, but i heard it was recconed at 7b+. To be honest i don't think it really suits a sitter (not being undercut or anything), too awkward and undigified!

the groove to the left is top quality...must be my favourite problem at wimberry...

anyone made any headway on the sitting start to the groove?

Would that be starting where his left foot is? that would certainly be one of the best lines/problems around. Wish i had a photo of Winsome cos thats superb too.

normal standing start is excellent, sitting start would be fantastic...

Yeah, I was on about the sitter. Its got to be tried as the moves up into the standing position are excellent, particularly the bit into the undercut smear - took me about a gazzilion goes mind, but well worth the skin expenditure.

the bit furthest away is Hong Kong Island, the bit right in front of you is Tsing Yi island (nothing there except the residential blocks you can see) and the stuff on the left is a town called Kwai Chung - at the back of the Kowloon peninsula

basically its the view south from the dot at Tsuen Wan on the following map:
