its a crag called Copper Door in deepest darkest China - well, Yangshuo, which isn't really like China at all (thank god - most of China seems pretty dismal!)

the potential for new routes in awesome - at the minute theres about 5 routes (F5-F6c+) which only go 1/3 of the way up it (its about 70-80m high), needs some second pitches

next time i'm heading back with a drill

he did some stuff there but most of it had been climbed before (i think)

it was Mr McClure who did the hard route - after JD pulled some holds off so the story goes - different crag back down in the valley floor though

A million miles from bouldering but I liked this pic - it's Alex Huber helping his brother Thomas top out after their nose ascent in 2hrs 31mins.

Hardly, Its more like a stupid mans version as it is a bit contrived; easier and a lot nicer to walk up the ramp, which you have to leave at the top via a mantle anyway.
