Yeah, that sort of thing has happened to quite a few people I know - once two mates of mine got picked up by the same guy on the same bit of motorway going in the same direction and propositioned, so he was obviously cruising the same bit of road !
I've been picked up by some right fuckwits, but never had any bad experiences really. Still, nobody hitches these days anyway, unless they're on the run from the law!
