Gorge du Tarn
September 24, 2006, 10:14:12 am
will share the love beta wise later on as I'm jet lagged to hell at the minute, in the mean time here's a few piccies from the last week in and around GdT:

the Tarn

Ru on a nasty 7a

Ash on the same

Neil on a far nicer 6b (contrary to popular opinion, plenty of punter grades around for the unfit)

pictueresque little villages a plenty

Gite in Les Vignes (by far the best village to stop in as its only minutes drive from all the climbing - other options such as Les Rozier and Sainte Enime are both between 20-30 mins away)

Colin on a delightful little (well, almost 30m long) 6c

Brits abroad - pasty white boys (Neil and Ash) topping up the tan

Rich on something (7b'ish I think)

A rather large bridge someone built nearby (Millau - the closest you get to civilisation round those parts)

Hugh looking all adonis like on a harsh little 6c

Rich on a nearby 7a+ (equally harsh - i.e. we found this crag hard)

Ru styling away on the big boy routes at Sector Gullich

Jesus' mug shot in rock

moody early morning sky on the day we left...

Great pics. Thinking about heading to GDT myself now.
