END OF WINTER MOFOS.

Nice one Blunk, sneaked that in the nick of time.

Fuck this spring bollox, it would be more welcome if we'd had a proper winter instead of 2/3 the time of pissing mild autumnal rain and then a little bit of winter at the end.

Still, my ticklist went quite well, I did quite a few inspiring routes and felt I got to grips with gritstone climbing in various ways, learnt quite a bit....it's all good.

Summer ticklist time!

Only one down for me so far (more of an annual ticklist) - Shallow Grave at Trowbarrow done. Incidentally, what's the name of that 7(b?) on the Shelter Stone? The one with the heel-move to crimp to rockover?

Well it used to be imaginatively called "The V8 Slap". However such a great problem clearly warranted a finer name, so it has been retronamed. Now "The 7b Slap".

Cheers Nigel. Indeed, the revamped problem name is up there with the all-time greats!

END OF WINTER MOFOS.

Is it bollocks. Might be down your way, but left car out last night and it was frosted this morning. Muchalls was bone dry and bitterly cold on Saturday.

Doubt it's over for Blunk either, still well into winter in Co.
