Stayed in a great (small) Gite in Boissy-Aux-Cailles, close to the small bouldering area (home of the the very soft Boule de Nerfs and the very hard Hip-Hop). I think there is only one gite listed there on the G de F index so check it out.

Hi Sloper,

We're staying at one at La Chapelle la Reine next month that looks fantastic - 1x double room, 1 with 2 singles. Right near the crossroads and, ah sod it - this one:
http://bonadresse.com/Ile-de-France/gite-la-chapelle-la-reine.htm
Big supermarket nearby, breadshop etc a couple minutes walk away. Looks fantastic.

Also stayed at one at a place called Marlanval, but I can't find that on the gites de france website right now.  It's just down the road from Chapelle, so again, dead convenient. This one also has 2 Bedrooms - 1 with a double, the other with a double and a single. The proprieter is dead nice and didn't charge us for any gas/electric at the end of our stay, which was a bonus.

Oh, I just realised, the one at Marlanval is the one Carnage mentioned, listed as Boissy-aux-Cailles - it's number 63 at the gites de france website.

Aye, I've stayed in that one, was pretty nice, the guy who runs it is a nice guy too, he's got a fair bit of local knowledge. Watch out if you have a fire though, the chimney doesn't draw very well and fills the room with smoke.

Hi Sloper, These gites looks good http://perso.dixinet.com//gite-forges-stmartin//index.html

We stayed in this one and the cunt of an owner tried to keep our deposit for trivial reasons. Be very careful and allow plenty of time for negociations if you stay here.

The one in B-M is fine, but the double bedroomhas a concrete floor and a tin roof, which can get a bit cold (as in glacial).
