Dry Northern Limestone Tomorrow
September 02, 2006, 08:33:51 pm
After the down pour we've had today, and a report that Malham is seeping badly, does anyone know of a bolted limestone crag in the peak/yorkshire that will be in condition tomorrow?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the weather beta Andy - Mart and I were thinking of heading up to Malham tomorrow but we won't bother now.

Raven Tor was dry today apart from the bits that normally get wet in the rain so every route from the extreme L to the pinches wall was OK.  I was on Indecent and even in the downpours it wasn't too bad although it was a bit greasy.

It's blowing a hoolie at the moment and it's not rained here since about 5:00pm (I'm only 15mins away from the dales) so if it doesn't rain tonight, the Cornice (Chee) should be OK too.

I'll post a weather report on here in the morning....

Mixed cloud, the odd light shower overnight and windy this morning in t' High Peak - looks like it could develop into quite a nice day.
