cant believe it seeeing i was there two days ago and nothing seemed to of changed, that whole area of rock takes a hammering from the amount of people climbing. I'll have a look this aftie....

As i said on that thread, i was there sunday and there was nothing amiss. If you were there 2days ago (tuesday)? then that must have been after it was posted, i still recon theres nothing changed.

Just got back from having a look....fraid to say definitely looks bigger. The back of it looks deeper, like someone has dug into it, there a pebble which has now got a lip where before im sure it was part of the sloper.
This handold/footholfd takes a lot of shit from being a foothold on all the arete variation, you could put it down to erosion but all the scoring/erosion is on the back of the sloper just where you need to make it better.
the grit is piss wet through so would be interesting to go back when its drier to have another look. (its also mingingly warm so wouldnt bother this eve guys and gals)

nah, the amount thats been scraped is very small, like a couple of mil, but it changes the hold . repairing would be to aggressive, it would show up more than the damage.
