have awarded idol -1 karma points for;

a) dragging this post off topic by prattling seemingly drug induced gibberish  :off:

b) racially insulting someone for his lack of interest in a quasi mythical grade talked only about by people at the forefront of trad in the early 90s and pat king  :spank:

( both of which make yor requests to "talk about climbing" seem insinsere )

also awarded +1 karma points for;

the ethical standpoint  :agree: only so many hard lines left, style and ethics are important

Edwards said since the drilling he has toproped the climb in bare feet (it should be pointed out that he strongly denies drilling/chipping of this route). Andy Pollit first pointed the chipping out way back. I abbed the line out of curiosity a few years back and the chipped/drilled holds despite being sika'd are still very much in evidence and must be usable if you are climbing at a standard where this route would be viable (not me!). Shame because it's a line in the Indian Face category of awesome lines but overhanging and no gear. I'm back down next week and I'll happily hold your ropes on what would be a major achievement if climbed without the chipped holds and only natural pro. Sadly I think doing without the former impossible unless you're the love child of Gaskins and Dawes. Are you?

Hahahahaha, it is Pat King after all! My first instinct was correct. You can tell by the way all the posts start with 'er'.

 Oh Padddi, carabiner, caribiner, caribiner....

It was obvious really. Where did he go anyway, I was quite amused by his ramblings.

Come back Pat, we need your randomness to brighten up our lunch breaks.

I think it was all the bad karma dished out by those who don't appreciate the man, the legend, that is The King.

Oh come on - I can't see Pat being upset by a lil' bit of K-

I only puntered him because it was so off-topic - I've got nothing against his crazy ramblings in the right place. That said, this topic is now so far off it smells.

I certainly couldn't climb 7b.  Not in one million years.  And do you know why, I spend more time masturbating in front of the mirror than I do in the school room on my sly little jaunts.  Next year I hope to break into british 7a, a step up from percy 97.
