Font Problem Query
July 23, 2007, 11:01:25 pm
Noticed this pic on a public facebook gallery and recognised it as one I did at Cuvier this year, but nobody I was with knew what it was called and the guy with a guidebook said it wasn't in there (the old purple one).

So here's a pic!

If you know the grade you should be able to find it on Bleau.info

I don't know what it's called but it's near the start of the Blue circuit and goes at 6b+ if you do it properly and traverse in from around the corner to the left.  I also think we did it from low on the right at about 6a.

I can't be arsed scanning bleau.info to find out the name.

Cheers! Must have been using a bad sequence to make it feel as hard as it did ^^

I think it actually gets a lower grade than 6b+ to be honest.  In the random grade generator that is Font, it's one of those that could do with being a little higher, especially if you do the traverse in as Sloper says.  About 6a for pulling on and slapping straight to the jug I guess.  Then again who knows.

For what it's worth I thought the up problem pulling on from the break about 6b and the trav from R to L finishing round the corner around 7a (given it felt similar to Kilo De Beurre).

I always thought about 6b, aparently double dyno from the center to the top is around 6c/7a ao I heard, A load of us were trying it last year and couldnt do it, but a couple of weeks ago I just walked up to it and did the dyno 1st time, felt about 6a

But hey thats font for you, flash 7b's fail 6b's
