paragliding and bouldering

is there any paragliding and bouldering sites near each other as my friend likes paragliding and i love to boulder. so if hes goes and flies i can hitch a lift and boulder what a plan!!.
prefrebly in derbyshire. thanks. :)

Mam Tor is near(ish) to Hathersage, etc.

how about say eerrrm...stanage!!

Seen plent of paragliders launch from the Apparent north area and happily float back and forth along the edge. requires a south westerly - which is not uncommon.

Not sure if there is any bouldering there though  ;)

yeah there is the legendary platation dude!!!

I never knew that they did paragliding at stanega thanks for that mate.

iv only been climbing about 6/7 months and i aint been to stanage. iv just heard about and read about it.
anyhow what does FOAM mean?

it looks like you need it spelling out.

it was a piss take when it was mentioned there might be some bouldering at stanage.did you really think that no one on here would not know about it.after all its only ukbouldering ;).
the ref to foam and andi e.
they are/were young men who also felt the need to educate the rest of us with what they felt was their sound knowledge and judgement.whilst missing often missing the point,which in most cases was as obvious as the effiel tower.
so now do you see the connection.
