"Crash and Gurn" at Burbage South
October 14, 2002, 07:46:58 pm
Wonder if there's anyone can shed some light on the origins of this problem.

The problem was sent to us by Dave Norton a while back but there  was no FA date sent in with it.

Turns out that Ru Davies did the problem a couple of years ago but didn't write it up.

No big deal here, but it'd be nice to have the record set straight so if anyone knows Dave Norton, can they give him a shout for us - thanks.

I know Dave, so I'll mention it when I next see him, if he hasn't already seen this thread.

Apparently its a good problem,  hard to get your arse off the ground. I haven't tried it yet though.......

Cheers Dave, Ru reckoned it'd probably been done before that as it's a fairly obvious problem to try.

Mark has been singing the praises of Burbage S. far end, so might start playing up there - some really nice stuff apparantly.

I ain't spoken to dave yet, but i think he probably did it within the last year some time, so it quite possibly may have been done before.

Have you seen the photo of dave in climber in pantontinos article? bloody celebrity........

No rush, just be good to iron out errors in the problems database.

Not seen the latest climber yet - what's he been up to then?

I think its a V6 down by pigeon cave, supposed to be reyt good.

Not bought climber though, ever, since even Pantontino's excellent article every month can't redeem it!

I need to buy 'em really, but am too tight! At least then each month the probs d/b would be up to date, as it's, ahem(!) quite out of date at the moment!
