will be flying in to san fransisco at the end of the month and will have 3 months to  kill in the west.any recommendations on where to go other than the obvious. any beta on locations in utah/colorado much appreciated.and does anyone know how much an old banger would set me back out there

Bob, I think it's been ignored because;

a) If you do a site search you will find it's been asked a few dozen times.
b) It's too vague.

doh! just being lazy i guess :oops: as for vague apart from a few weeks in squamish and bishop i have no concrete plans so any suggestions west of denver are in.im guessing utah might be a tad warm but might be down moab way for some mountain biking anyway.
any suggestions for wyoming idaho or montana much appreciated

Don't know much but;

Pocatello in Idaho used to get a bit of publicity.

I was at Joes Valley in late May and early June, and could do morning and evening sessions. I was disappointed by Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Rocky Mountain National Park near Boulder looks good.
