ps dont feel scared/annoyed, i wont bother asking for lifts, place to sleep, or guided tours, my friend who i come north with has lived there for three years, and has already arranged our stay.
so, basically, your guest rooms and fridge are safe.

id be glad to share grit/beers with who happe to be around, thats all! :)

:)

People are only scared because you are a pr0nstar and they feel they won't "measure up".

Yes, sorry, all a bit antisocial of us. Lets hope the weather is good. I'm sure there will be people around to show you what's what. Best thing to do is start a thread a couple of days before you come and we can post what we expect to be doing.

can i also respectfully request an extension of nibile's "good weather vibes" till the end of the following weekend, as that's when I'm aiming to make my triumphant, Deliverance-ticking return to the Peak? Thanks in advance...

Weather next weekend looks a bit dodgy Nibile, I hope the forecast is wrong. Best of luck on your upcoming trip!  :)

so,
armageddon is coming close.
tomorrow i wont be online, cos ill have to pack stuff and basically will be too psyched to work.

ill fly to da peak friday night. so, if mother earth gives us good weather, saturday ill be around in da grit, hopefully stanage (where else should i be?) but really dunno.

if you happen to see a moustached italian climbing in brown pants with green patches on knees, trying to wrestle his way up something you warm up on, feel free to come and shake hands, ill be pleased to meet!!!

ciao ragazzi!!!
lorenz.

If forecasts are right, it looks like weather gods may be favourng you. Unfortunately I am a bit far away to form the welcoming party, but I should be able to hear the cries of "yes, yes, fucking yes!" as you top out the first problem from here.

Hope you have a great weekend. The weather is amazing at the moment so hopefully it will last. Cold and sunny and perfect.

Stanage is good, lots to do. Check out the burbage valley too - burbage south for real boulders and getting used to the grit, burbage north for a whole host of classics. Burbage west has some good stuff too...

If you have transport, try and get down to cratcliffe for a day - some really excellent stuff there. And the Roaches is another top destination... Plenty to go at with all those...

Have fun!

Good luck Nibile, hope you have a good trip. I'll keep my eye out for any italians.

If you have chance, do get up to Yorkshire, top quality stuff up there.

Heading down to the peak on Monday next week. Been keeping an eye on:

www.metcheck.com

The weather looks very promising and from what I've read on here it's good already dispite the threat of snow. Looks like it will hold too. Really looking forward to getting out there.

so, back again home.

grit? excellent.
weather? excellent.
vibe? excellent.
sends? none.

its been fu***** great, really. oviously my hidden presence gave people the energy to do voyager and careless torque, but left me deprived of my power to send my projects. that still remain.

ticklistnamedropping:
saturday cratcliffe: did alot, but fell off t-crack five times from last pocket.
sunday the temple (plantation): did alot (dope and green trav) but failed on brad pit, the storm and bentleys gonna sort you out.
monday almscliff: did dolphin belly slap and demon roof, but couldnt complete the keel: how do you get the pockets if you are short and cant keep feet jammed?

wanna get back.
cheers,
lorenz.

pics soon, if you care.

Hey that's cool, I'm glad for you that you got good weather, seeing as what it's like now, you picked just the right time!

Well done for getting to a variety of places even if you went to Almscliff instead of Caley

Nice one on getting to God's own crag  :o

The keel: match chip, cut loose, trying to use a toe hook by the keel with your left foot to stop you swinging around, campus to victory.

It is less reachy to get the chip with right hand first, then match.

Was in the Peak on Monday just gone. Got up to the Plantation for a few hours and did Deliverance, Not to be Taken Away and Cresent Arete. Last time I was up there a guy came off Cresent Arete and snapped his ankle so I was a little shaky on that! Tried the Storm but no success there. It rained on Tuesday so we packed up and went to the Bowderstone. Knew I should have been there at the weekend! Enjoyed the climbing I did do though.
