swedes to grit!
February 26, 2006, 03:17:10 pm
Hi, we are three guys from Stockholm flying over to boulder on the gritstone from 9th March for just 5 days. Wondering if there are any keen souls willing to guide us about on the classics even if it's just for a half day. We're keen to climb so weather conditions don't matter but if it's totally soaking wet then we'll need a pub guide instead :P

cheers crello, brizz and John

Are you Chris Ellis from Oz?

Anyway, as Jim said, post up some dates, and also post nearer the time as a reminder, but I'm sure someone will be about to show you 'round. I'd be glad to for a day if I'm available.

Hi Chris, we climbed together a few times in Sydney, at the Villas and Balkans if I remember right. Jon and Fiona, we were with Aaron and Buge etc. Good to hear you are coming over. Don't worry too much about the weather, with a little local knowledge you can usually find some quality dry rock. I'll certainly be happy to show you round at the weekend and can no doubt sort out some able guides for the other days. Might even be able to blag a half day off work. Will you be flying inearly enough for a full day Thurs?

I don't get to choose which crags stay dry.... Sweden's a long way to travel for an indoor session.
