Thinking of going at the end of september, is it worth it? What are the best places to go to? Campsites ect.

valtellina is BEAUTIFUL. september can be perfect. many, many, many possibilities, from lakes, to sportchuffing, to boldering, to multipitch, to aid.

val di mello is very close. very.
as for accomodations, it depends on your activity choice. if its really climbing related, just go north and stay in val di mello or valmasino.
