That bottom shot looks like a cross between the Sheep Pen main face and of course the much loved Roadside Face. Must be awesome!

Woah, stuff looks pretty cool. Someone go find out more about it so I can add Iceland to my places to visit.

And to think everyone I know wants to go to bloody Costa bloody Blanca time after time  :?

Dude, did you manage to get-some-in here?  Wadya know, huh?

Iceland is next on my list of hugely unpopular; cold; hopefully devoid of human life; 'beavering in obscurity'-type places to visit.

Patience my friend, patience! I go a month today...  ;D

Preparations for Iceland include tourist books, online translators and vast quantities of Sigur Ros.

Y'know Andi, I thought I had an angle on most types of humour...
                                                                                        ...
                                                                                            ...
                                                                                                ...
...yet your reply baffles the life out of me.

Though having spent many years around Ug, who has worked with ---- in a very hot place - JB's reply makes perfect sense.  ;) or perhaps  :shag:

But bring me pictures of Fire & Brimstone; gushing lava-filled cracks; bouldering inside the crater of a volcano - plus any female prettier than Björk (preferably in a thermal hot-tub - just make sure you are not in shot, OK?).

JB's right, they look like they are in the single figures. Andi, I am deeply worried about you now.

They could be anywhere from 14 to 18 imho. I find it hard to tell now I'm an old twat.

This kind of stuff annoys me:  we have one of the fastest broadband connections geld can buy, yet server too busy!  I can't get past the 'baby Jesus' pic.   Something tells me it was meant to be this way...

Andi - I'm guessing this site would be more up your barrel:

Oh my, half the population of the US probably actually find that really erotic.

Back to the topic... :)

I will be in Iceland within the next two weeks, around the south west coast and a bit inland mainly, but I will keep my eye out for a guide and suitable locations.  From what I remember though as iceland is so young in geological terms, there is not that much in the way of quality rock which as we all know tends to be sedimentary and/or metamorphic (cue wild criticism and another off topic debate).
