Sound. The home page is a bit bland and wordy and not very exciting unless the vid is playing. Maybe more colour (photos) on that page. Everything else worked well for me.
Latest News banner is a little annoying.

The home page is due to change imminently. The default look will be images, with the option of playing the video.
Not sure about the 'latest news' thing myself either. Any other opinions?

Oh, had Sam from the Works on the phone this afternoon. They;ve decided to move the CWIM to April so it won't be on the same weekend as ShAFF. A shame, but we're still planning on a joint party.

And it's not called the CWIM any more. It's now the Climbing Works International Festival. And it's not March 1st, it's sometime in April (12th I Think)

As I'm doing some work on websites at the moment (i.e. in the process of commissioning a build)

I'd say the sponsors could do with a bit more limelight, bottom of the page says they're a low priority. Particularly for UKC a link from the 'climbing/mountaineering' text at the top to their site would be a good selling point, other than that, the video takes a while to load / buffer and a bit more action with less clutter might be worth considering.

I've got 24-8. Its not a bad film (altough the bonus footage is actually better than the main feature). Scarborough trying to do 8 probs of V10 or more in 24 hours. Not suprisingly, theres a lot of footage of him in the car. And why he leaves the V12 to the end, I don't know........also its a shame that the Bungonia problem featured from this amazing area is particularly uninpsiring.

Aye, but Dean is editing a brand new festival copy which will run about 15 minutes so feature less time in the car!

You shoul get a copy of E0S 2 (which I understand is being remastered) and show that. Even if it is a bit old its a much better display of Australian bouldering and you can bet hardly anyone will have seen it. Gives some real insight/understanding of the problems making up the Wheel of Life and all the other stuff in the cave, plus all the Sydney stuff.
