Xmas Quiz 2005
December 20, 2005, 12:32:55 pm
Word, a bit of a UKB quiz for y'all...no prizes, just the respect of all the homies.

Obviously, if you're the person in question here it's gonna be hella easy for y'all.

1) Which UKB poster did the wall left of Careless Torque at Stanage? What grade did it go at and what was the name?

2) According to JB, what must one never, EVER use when doing Deliverance?

3) Where is r-man's tripod?

4) Are fightstar any good? (nb: the answer to this question may be different if you are FOAM)

5) Who is under the lion here?

6) A couple of my fave's from Dave from the last year...what is he talking about in the following?

a) "...the scran was shit hot, the ale was fresh and the vibe was dope. no complaints ..."

b) "...now i know you're never going to get them looking 100% the same, but i don't think its too much to ask to get them like ballpark - what i've got from the ones i've tried are just unbelievable, i don't know why they don't just go and push shit though my letterbox in a burning paper bag..."

7) What's the hardest problem on Si O'C's ticklist?

That's all I can think of for the minute, good luck!

No I'm pretty sure its 8a in one summer, incidentally the 2nd ascent of action directe was Alex Adler, although apparently there are some who are dubious about this, not me by the way just people from at the top of the scene way back when, '95 I believe.

Q:  What is a 'shunting biscuit'?

The problem with this thread, (not that its a problem, mind!), is that its more fun thinking up your own questions than trying to answer other peoples! Maybe, we should have a system where if you get a correct answer you can pose a new question?

1. Running Hill Pits - there's an E2 5b going up from it using a thread around it if i remember rightly
2. is it something to do with access issues? that's the main cause of venues changing names, either that or the want everyone to know it's in the valley of the avers
3. i'm intruiged, do tell...
