Irish Climbing/Bouldering Video
November 27, 2005, 05:51:56 pm
Some people may have already come across this but anyway. It's called Underdeveloped and will be released in the New Year (preview in Sheffield this month) comes from Ricky Bell (probably Irelands best trad climber at the moment) and his mates.  Well entertaining + has some proper Hard Grit moments....

Check it out on www.theshortspan.com, a few items down the page or at http://www.maths.tcd.ie/~moroneyk/VideoFiles/underdeveloped.mpg

Support Speaker: To Be Confirmed
Main Speaker: Simon Yates – Beyond The Void. In a career spanning twenty years Simon Yates' climbing and travelling has taken him from Alaska in the west to Australia in the east, from the Canadian Arctic in the north to the tip of South America. He first came to prominence as a mountaineer in 1985 after the first ascent of the West Face of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes and the ensuing epic descent described in the book Touching the Void and the 2003 BAFTA wining docu-drama of the same name. In this lecture Simon will take a humorous and philosophical look at some of the more notable experiences over his years as a mountaineer, accompanied by a stunning selection of slides collected during his travels
